Make it your checklist
Separate essential arrangements from preferences. You can describe what you need without sharing a diagnosis. Where dimensions matter, ask for measurements for the exact proposed room and compare them with your own requirements.
These are questions to help you decide. They are not a certification, inspection report or assurance that any property is suitable. Read how to ask a hotel about access and support for more context.
Tick a question to include it in your enquiry. Nothing is sent to Travelaux or the hotel, and this page does not save your selections. You can also print the page using your browser.
A short enquiry you can adapt
Hello [hotel team],
I am considering a stay from [arrival] to [departure] for [number of guests]. Before deciding, I would like to check the arrangements below for the exact room you propose.
My essential requirements are [practical requirements]. My preferences are [optional preferences]. Please answer the questions I have selected from the checklist and share recent photographs or measurements where relevant.
Please distinguish confirmed features from requests, note any extra costs, and explain what would happen if an essential arrangement changed. Who should I contact to confirm these details before booking?
Thank you, [name]
Keep a useful record
Alongside the hotel’s reply, record the property and room type, stay dates, the confirming person or department, confirmation date and any outstanding questions. If an essential answer is missing, resolve it before committing.
Keep these notes in your own document. Share personal support information only with the people who need it and with the traveller’s agreement.
