Places to visit in Tonga
Tonga whale-watching and whale-swimming must use current licensed operators; whale season generally July–October. Remote Haapai and Niuas routes require confirmed inter-island transport, accommodation and evacuation arrangements. Island-group modules for Tongatapu, Haapai, Vavau and the Niuas. Sea transfers and seasonal wildlife trips require separate booking verification. Whale encounters use only licensed operators and never guarantee sightings or swimming.
