WARNING: Do not offer the Burkina Faso frontier or Savanes Region as normal tourism. UK FCDO warns against travel within 30 km of the Burkina border except specified access, and against non-essential travel to other parts of Savanes. Kara and Koutammakou require a fresh route-level security review before accepting enquiries. Cultural and natural routes from Lomé and Lake Togo to the Plateaux, central market towns and the Koutammakou heritage landscape. The far northern Savanes and Burkina Faso frontier are excluded from normal customer routes under regional travel warnings.
