FCDO advises against all travel to western and central Mindanao and Sulu; against all but essential travel to much of the remainder of Mindanao, with named island exceptions. Davao activities are strictly conditional and should not be marketed if advisory or insurance conditions conflict. Avoid unapproved whale-shark feeding and protected-area violations. Extensive island-based master catalogue across northern and southern Luzon, the Visayas and selected Mindanao islands, with marine-protection, weather and regional-security screening.
