Remote Nordic roads, mountain treks, ferries and Arctic activities are weather dependent. Svalbard expedition work requires licensed guides and polar-bear safety procedures; no unguided wilderness activity should be promised. Wildlife sightings and aurora visibility are never guaranteed. A nationwide master itinerary across Eastern Norway, the south coast, fjord country, Trøndelag, Arctic Norway, Lofoten, Nordland and permit-dependent Svalbard. Routes are regional, with ferries, mountains and seasons planned individually.
