Northern Benin, Pendjari and W National Parks and warned border departments are excluded due to official security warnings. An extended heritage-focused southern and central Benin journey exploring Cotonou, Ganvié, Ouidah, coastal fishing towns, Abomey and Porto-Novo. The northern border national parks and warned Atacora/Alibori travel areas are explicitly excluded from selectable routes.
